There we have it… today was the beginning of STEMmersion. In all I don’t really think there was much that we did. But I can say that the things we did do we are really good start into what we are going to be doing and what we should be expecting.
We spent some time going over what the goal of the next few weeks were going to be and what we thought it meant to like “deliberately”. Going off of that I guess to me it’s just taking your time through life and living the present moments, living for what it is and not only the things you expect it to be. To me that seemed like a very positive way to start things off because it is a very much starting into the personal journey of bettering yourself. What our expectations of that word led us into the expectations that we had for the STEMmersion as a whole.
Right before lunch we got to go outside over by the pond. There seemed to be a lot of commotion over there from another group, but that’s normal. Walking through the tall grass was itchy and not so fun, but the people and friends that were their walking through it to make for an interesting walk over. We just got to go out and listen to the sounds of nature and people enjoying their time and soaking up the sunshine.
I honestly think I’m going to really enjoy this. The whole nature and writing thing all combined together. Both are something that I have always enjoyed and I think it’s going to make for a great few weeks. So there we have it… Day 1 is almost over and even though we didn’t do much so much was learned and I feel so much more prepared for what is to come next. :)
